Cacao Culture Farms is a social enterprise that seeks to help cacao farmers, wants to promote local products and encourage local food entrepreneurs to use high quality, locally and ethically sourced cacao products from the Philippines. Our cacao products are proudly locally grown, harvested and processed in Davao City.
Initially, Cacao Culture Farms was set up as a cacao seedling nursery to cater to small holder farmers and private farm owners. We offer superior quality grafted cacao seedlings of different varieties and farm development services support to private farm owners and cacao growers in the Philippines. We are accredited by Bureau of Plant Industry as a Plant Nursery Operator.
Our company's mission is to enable our farmers to produce quality cacao beans and to be able to help them get better income through product and business development. While we specialize in growing and trading of high-quality fermented cacao beans, we are now slowly developing cacao based products to showcase how great and flavorful our own cacao beans from the Philippines.
Originally from Manila, Kenneth and Shiela Reyes-Lao, are technology startup founders who moved to Davao City to enter cacao farming. Initially, they ventured into cacao seedling nursery to cater to small holder farmers and private farm owners. Then stumbled upon the opportunity to buy and sell fermented beans from neighboring farmers.
